Since 1975 we have created quality candle holders, plant holders and lamps from recycled tin cans.  Each piece  is individually handcrafted using an oxyacetylene welding torch.  Click on the “Tinnery Demonstration” tab above to see a video of the cutting process.   Our finished work is dipped twice in

polyurethane varnish to retard rust and tarnish.  Clear varnish gives the natural finish of the can a pewter look.  The copper-tone finish comes from a dye we add to the polyurethane.

In 2003 we started making Aloe Rainbow Lamps.  Initially we made them out of paper, but folks wanted a more durable material so we did some research and are now making them out of high-density polyethylene plastic consisting of approximately 65% recycled material

Each lamp is individually hand-assembled from dye cut pieces of our design.  They are available in a variety of shapes and color combinations.
